Fantasy Baseball Insiders Tonight 4/20: Giants’ Pitcher Jonathan Sanchez Allows One Run, K’s 10 in Loss

Game No. 17 of 162 in Fantasy Baseball Insiders' summer-long journey featured a revived Jose Reyes, and an impressive pitching performance this week's hottest pickup. Game No. 17 - Chicago Cubs vs. New York Mets Jose Reyes had his best game of the young season Tuesday night against the Cubs, going 4-for-5 with a stolen base and two RBI. Mike Pelfrey dazzled the Cubs Tuesday night, allowing no runs on three hits and three walks in seven innings. He also struck out six en route to his third win in as many starts. The 26-year-old now has a 0.86 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with a 16:8 K:BB ratio through 21 innings. The question all fantasy managers are asking now is: How good is Mike Pelfrey? Fantasy Baseball Insiders Tonight 4/15: Brewers’ Ryan Braun, Twins’ Francisco Liriano Shine

Fantasy Baseball Insiders’ 162-game journey is being put on hold for one night. While time didn’t allow the Insiders to score an entire game on Thursday, we did watch parts of multiple games. HITTERS Hitter of the day: Ryan Braun (4-for-5, BB, 2 R, HR, 3 RBI) Ryan Braun went 4-for-5 against the Cubs on Thursday, raising his batting average to .378. Milwaukee’s left fielder now has seven runs, three HRs and 11 RBI through nine games. Top-five fantasy player? I think so...

Ticket Liquidator

Interest is peaking among those who seek cheap tickets to MLB games, especially the stadiums that fill up fast and sell out quick like Fenway Park seats, cheap Yankees baseball games and the big one in July; the 2011 MLB All-Star Game in Phoenix. Before that, though, don't forget to check out these seats at the College World Series 2011. As we head into spring, there are other sports hitting their high notes, including cheap games at the NBA finals, action in the octagon at a MMA Fight Night and other fight tickets including the 2011 boxing schedule.
